The goal of our small organization is to tell the story of all American litter bearers who served on the Western Front from 1917-1919. We strive to recreate the tactics, strategy, uniforms, equipment and soldier life of the U.S. Army Medical Department enlistedmen who were assigned to the 165th Ambulance Company, 117th Sanitary Train, 42nd Division.
